About Us
Tarsheed
Tarsheed is an educational institution established by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and based in Doha, Qatar. It is dedicated to advancing positive and sustainable change in education through the development and implementation of educational initiatives in Qatar and across the Arab world.
Vision
We aim to contribute to meaningful and lasting improvements in teaching and learning by fostering sustainable learning environments. We also seek to enrich Arabic educational knowledge through the development of learning initiatives, as well as the design and dissemination of high-quality educational resources in Arabic.
Message
Tarsheed promotes sustainable learning environments through a range of initiatives that respond to the evolving needs of educators and learning communities in Qatar and across the Arab world. The institution places particular emphasis on supporting Arab educators through continuous dialogue and a deep understanding of their needs, thereby strengthening the effectiveness and long-term sustainability of its programs and services.
Tarsheed also supports initiatives that integrate best educational practices, recognizing educational theory and everyday practice as complementary pillars of effective education. In addition, it provides technical support to initiatives and organizations contributing to the realization of the Qatar National Vision 2030.
The Name Tarsheed
The name Tarsheed was chosen for the values it embodies - guidance, wisdom, maturity, responsibility, and enlightenment - principles that form the foundation of our work. Tarsheed was established by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and is headquartered in Doha, Qatar.
