The Tarsheed Teacher Training Program held its second session in Qatar, a workshop titled "Concept-Based Inquiry," led by educational consultant Ms. Ghada Maalouf on January 16–17, 2026, at the Arab International Academy in Lusail. The workshop brought together 25 teachers and educational supervisors from various schools and grade levels.
Each participant received a copy of Concept-Based Inquiry in its Applied Stages (Tarsheed Educational Programs), authored by Carla Marshall and Rachel French and translated by Haifa Abu Al-Nadi.
The workshop focused on equipping teachers to design learning units around core concepts, enhance student engagement, foster interdisciplinary knowledge transfer, and develop critical and inquiry-based thinking skills. Practical examples and interactive activities enabled participants to apply these methods directly in their classrooms.
Tarsheed’s Teacher Training Program provides professional development through interactive, hands-on training in Arabic, supported by educational publications and resources tailored to contemporary teaching practices in the Arab educational context.
