Manhajiyat Second Webinar in January: “Reclaiming the Teacher’s Professional Voice”

April 22, 2026
Manhajiyat Second Webinar in 2026

The full recording of the webinar “Reclaiming the Teacher’s Professional Voice” is now available. Manhajiyat held its second webinar for January 2026 under this title, focusing on several key themes:

The teacher’s professional voice: what it means and how it is formed.

Field experiences and testimonies.

Pathways toward reclaiming teachers’ professional voice.

The webinar featured a distinguished group of speakers: Ms. Heyam Safir, educator and educational coordinator specializing in teacher development-Lebanon; Ms. Maram Abdulaziz Ghanem, primary years teacher (PYP) – Jordan / Qatar; Ms. Fidaa Omran Fatoni, Arabic language and drama teacher-Palestine; and Dr. Adel Hamdi, Senior Advisor and Expert in School Life at the Ministry of Education-Tunisia.

The session was moderated by Mr. Yusri Al Amir, Editor-in-Chief of Manhajiyat and an educational consultant in Arabic language teaching-Lebanon. He opened the webinar by introducing Manhajiyat as a periodic online educational magazine aimed at all professionals in the education sector within their social contexts. The magazine publishes rich and inspiring Arab and international contributions on a regular basis, in diverse formats and multimedia forms. It also follows developments in the field and encourages dialogue that enriches educational experiences in the Arab world, making it a valuable human and knowledge resource for individuals and institutions. He invited the audience to follow the magazine and contribute to its sections.

In his introduction, Mr. Yusri highlighted the spaces where the teacher’s professional voice is often absent—whether in the relationship between teachers and institutional administrative decisions, in shaping educational plans related to teaching and curriculum, or even in teachers’ classroom practices and behaviors.
